Project Overview: The new terminal at Malabo Airport consists of a main concourse, a connecting building, and a pier (concourse wing). The main concourse measures approximately 150.0m by 60.0m with a 10.0m x 10.0m column grid. The pier is approximately 290m long and 27.0m wide with a 10.0m x 9.0m column grid. The central connecting building is approximately 80.0m long and 20m wide with a 10.0m x 10.0m column grid.
The roofing utilizes a lightweight, insulated metal roofing system; the horizontal projected area of the steel roof structure is approximately 22,648 square meters.
